Syllabus: | Production of corporate or commissioned documentaries through discussion and analysis of current and evolving industry practices including contracts, client briefs, scriptwriting, copyright and budget preparation, as well as through the practical application of these in the production of a corporate video or project. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- An understanding of the nature of producing screen-based materials for clients on a contractual basis. An understanding of key processes in the production of commissioned videos. An understandingof how to present concepts and ideas to clients using scripts and storyboards. An understanding of client/producer relationships and a familiarity with documentation such as contracts, budgets and clearances. |
