Syllabus:An understanding of the innovative and challenging areas of advertising and music video production. Theoretical and practical aspects, including design, budgeting, contracting and copyright considerations as well as production skills.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- An understanding of the nature of producing music videos and advertising/promotional materials for clients. An understanding of key processes in the production of commissioned videos, video clipsand advertisements. An understanding of how to present concepts and ideas to clients using scripts and storyboards. An understanding of client/producer relationships and be familiar with documentation such as contracts, budgets and clearances.
