| Syllabus: | Practical development of both an understanding of the television studio production environment and the necessary skills to be able to design, script and produce multi-camera programs in a variety of formats such as news, sport and light entertainment. |

| Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have- Understood and be able to apply the processes of broadcast television production, with a particular emphasis on multi-cam, studio-based production. Produced programs for regular broadcast. Moreadvanced studio production skills, understood the interface between location and studio program content and be able to incorporate both in productions at a level suitable for broadcast. Understood the roles of, and relationships between key elements of the broadcast industry such as journalists, reporters and production crews and understand the role of the latter in news and current affairs production. |
