Syllabus: | Cinema in Asia, including mainland China, especially film of the fifth and sixth generations, Hong Kong and Taiwan, India, Japan and Indonesia. Covering both popular genres and art cinema, cinema and the formation of national cultures, regulation, censorship and sponsorship and Asian film industries. |
