Syllabus:Theoretical approaches and contemporary issues affecting the study of cultural heritage. Museological institutions and the culture of display. Discussions on selected readings.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have- Explored recent approaches to the study of museology. Developed the capacity to think and argue in abstract terms. Situated the study of museums within an interdisciplinary framework.
