Syllabus:Further clinical practice in school dental therapy procedures including patient assessment, preventive procedures and treatment procedures in accordance with relevant Acts. Practice management and quality control measures for school dental therapy. Practical experience in dental health education programs. *This unit has additional practical/clinical hours conducted outside of normal semester hours. This unit is an Industry Experience unit.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Provided school dental therapy care for patients in accordance with relevant acts. Presented, analysed and evaluated information in a clinical case study. Demonstrated effective communication with patients, members of the public and health professionals. Demonstrated the ability to practice in a professional manner.
