Topics include the project cycle in planning, understanding the project environment, Logical Framework Analysis, participatory and control-oriented management techniques, plus a major research paper.
 
Unit Outcomes:
Knowledge of the maint types of development projects including management techniques, funding arrangements and impacts on local communities. An understanding of how development policy articulates with development practice. The analytical skills to critically evaluate the range of management techniques currently applied in development practice.
