Syllabus: | Introduction to national and international policy-making for Internet-related activities, both public and private, commercial and other. Exploration of the complicated structure of governance of the Internet - the structure involves a unique mix of national, international, quasi-governmental and private organisations leading both to advantages and problems for understanding and harnessing the Internet. |

Unit Outcomes: | Upon successful completion of this unit, students will have- Described and understood current issues in the national and global management of the Internet. Described and understood key Australian and international laws relating to the Internet.Better predicted future developments, based on current knowledge. Maintained their knowledge of management issues and trends through awareness and ability to access Internet information sources. |
