Syllabus:Standardised clinical and research procedures for observing, describing and analysing different parameters of communication.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Demonstrated the ability to accurately analyse these parameters of communicative behaviour in adults and children with normal communication: pragmatics, discourse, syntax, semantics, morphology, phonology. The ability to transcribe words and phrases into the International Phonetics Association alphabet and notate stress and intonation patterns on phrases and sentences.
