| Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - An understanding of the broad objectives of building regulations and how they affect the practice of Interior Architecture. A basic understanding of the mechanism of building control. An understanding of the important concepts in the Building Code of Australia. An ability to assess compliance with the Building Code of Australia in terms of fire safety. An awareness of costs relative to an interiors project. An overview of project management. |
