Syllabus: | Assisted comprehension of natural Korean in documentaries, news and soap opera broadcasts. Tour guide practice in Korean. Vocabulary range 4000 active words, Hanja 400. Not available to students whose first language is Korean. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - The ability to analyse complex and irregular variations of the syntactic and semantic contents of Korean in contemporary use. An understanding of social and political backgrounds of recent newspaper articles of significant importance. Put language and cultural skills into practice by engaging in a practical project of simulating tour guide. |
