Introduction

This research course develops in-depth enquiry, a mastery of research methodology, and the ability to communicate research work and its findings. Students carry out research work, either in the laboratories of the institution or in industry, on projects in the general field of mining and mineral technology.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

A four year bachelors degree in engineering, a Graduate Diploma in Engineering or a Bachelor of Science degree with honours, or equivalent, in an appropriate field and at a better than average level of performance. Applicants with other qualifications and experience may only be admitted with the consent of the Senior Academic.
