Theories and principles of lifespan development from birth to death including gerontology. Stages and transitions throughout the life-cycle in sensory-motor, cognitive, emotional and social development. Application of developmental theories to the understanding of how skill acquisition enables engagement in occupational roles. Evaluation of development in the context of performance-environment-task.
