| Syllabus: | Basics of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), need for GPS positioning, link between GPS positioning and the conventional total station, coordinate representation, GPS segments. Errors in GPS measurements, GPS observation equations, associated errors. Point positioning: autonomous and PPP, static and kinematic GPS differential positioning, relative positioning: DGPS, RTK, and WADGPS. Data processing ad analysis, functional and stochastic models. Least Squares solution. 2D network adjustment. Statistical assessment of adjustment results. |
