Syllabus: | This unit is a follow up unit to EPID6001 Epidemiology and Biostatistics, covering advanced statistical methods commonly used in public health research. Topics covered include: a review of multivariable methods (multiple linear regression, two-way ANOVA and ANCOVA, logistic regression), repeated measures ANOVA, mixed design ANOVA, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, sample size calculation, an introduction to experimental designs and use of STATA statistical software. The emphasis is on practical application and interpretation of results. |
