Syllabus: | Epidemiological research, association and causation, rates and ratios, standardisation, bias, confounding and sensitivity and specificity of diagnostic and screening tests. Principles and evaluation of clinical trials, cohort and case control studies. Multivariable analyses: simple and multiple linear regression, two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) and logistic regression. Use of (SPSS) statistical software. |
