Syllabus: | Integration of nursing concepts, research based knowledge and skills related to mental health care. Community and family issues across the lifespan, communication and therapeutic relationships, mental status, health and risk assessment. Application of the principles of primary health care in mental health, paediatric, and community settings, health advocacy and health promotion including mental health across the lifespan. Medication administration in mental health, paediatric, and community settings. Assessment of client groups and identification of abnormal symptomatology in mental health, paediatric, and community settings. |
