Syllabus: | This unit will focus on participation, engagement, safety and wellbeing of primary school students. Different approaches and strategies for the prevention of and positive response to typical behavioural issues will be appraised. Pre-service teachers will examine policies and practices to manage challenging situations and develop a management plan. Skills and knowledge will be applied in a three week professional school placement. |
