Introduction
The Master of Science (Science Education) consists of coursework units in science education plus a minor project in an area relevant to the student's own teaching situation.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
Four years of relevant university qualifications and teaching experience.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
Duration and Availability
This fee paying course is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study. Both printed and Internet material is available.
Course Organisation
The Science and Mathematics Education Centre's Course Coordinator will advise on an appropriate mix of units depending on individual needs and circumstances.
Additional Course Expenses
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
