Introduction

This course is designed for practising biologists, resource managers, urban and regional planners and those concerned with environmental assessment. Participants further develop knowledge and skills in resource management, pest management, plant propagation, aquatic science, water quality management, and related disciplines. Although some compulsory core units must be included, students may select from a range of optional units according to individual interests.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

A bachelors degree or equivalent in a field related to natural resources or biology.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

This fee paying course is of one semester full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
