Syllabus: Using a systems approach: Assess, diagnose, manage, document and evaluate care related to the unstable patient in surgical or medical settings: Medication preparation and administration (parenteral, patient controlled analgesia, syringe pumps). Patients with varied levels of consciousness. Emergency procedures. Altered cognition and mental state. Oxygenation (high flow). Homeostasis. Complex wound care.
