Syllabus:	Mobile radio environments: propagation mechanisms, path loss, fading, multipath and statistical models. Access methods: conflict-free and non-conflict-free, frequency, time, code and space division multiple access. Cellular concept, architecture, frequency reuse, handoff, interference and capacity and grade of service. Advanced modulation techniques. Wireless systems: design parameters and standards.
