Syllabus: An introduction to disability and rehabilitation including an overview of philosophical, historical and legislative developments. Rehabilitation practice and theoretical underpinnings of selected service delivery systems are examined. Vocational assessment and vocational counselling theory and practice in the context of professional specialisations and qualifications. Issues of ethnicity, gender, age, disability and personal values about work are explored.
