Syllabus: Students are required to choose from a range of research projects in the department. A detailed review of the literature assists in setting research objectives and establishing the current body of knowledge. The research process, including problem definition, research philosophy, experimental design, ethics and intellectual property, for example, is addressed periodically throughout the semester. Students commence the research project as a requirement for Biology Project 302.
