Syllabus: Students will acquire skills in visual language through a focus on visual and conceptual inquiry. Historical socio-political and cultural viewpoints are analysed and interpreted to inform contemporary practice. Through individual and collaborative projects drawing and design tasks assist in the visualization of ideas and challenge students to think laterally, take risks and experiment with mediums. Seminars focus on contemporary interpretations of cognate areas of research.
