Syllabus: This unit offers an in depth exploration of aspects of particular themes in Asian Studies, such as culture, language, society, politics and history. Students will learn how to design and carry out a research project. By engaging in either a theoretical study or 'hands on' research project, the relevant theories and methodologies and their relationship to important Asia-related issues will be investigated.
