Syllabus (HB): Exploration of the cultural construction of gender, and its intersection with sexuality, in order to both broaden and deepen students' understanding of gender, and to provide them with the theoretical tools to engage in critical analysis of greater discourse and formation. A variety of texts across different media (print, visual, electronic) and genres will be analysed in order to highlight these issues.
