Syllabus: An exploration of some of the ways in which Asian studies scholars engage in research. By engaging in 'hands on' research, the processes through which Asian-ness is constructed in Australia in public and private spaces will be investigated. The culture, politics and history of Asia and Asian-ness in families and the wider community.
