Syllabus: Stress: Meaning, theoretical models, mediating factors. Workplace stress: models, indicators, intervention approaches. Organisational stressors: factors related to the job, role characteristics, interpersonal relationships, organisation structure and climate, human resource management systems, the work-nonwork interface. Individual-focused interventions. Implementing a stress prevention programme. Managerial stress.
