Syllabus: This unit focuses on integration and analysis of key functions, concepts and strategies for growth-oriented Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The unit has a significant fieldwork component where students work in teams or individually to identify a small business owner that they can work with throughout semester to develop a tailored report to which these key functions, strategies and concepts are applied. The owners are invited to provide input into the assessment of the report to retain the reality-based approach of this live case.
