A focus on the fundamental elements and principles of illustation in order to understand, evaluate and resolve a given brief. All successful and innovative illustration is created against a clearly defined brief and a focused set of objectives. Students will be encouraged to analyse, question, clarify and research their intended message and objectives. This process is designed to help in the creative thinking and to illustrate creative communications. It will be encouraged to distinguish between different perceptual and expressive elements in personal work and that of others.
