A focus on aesthetic comprehension and illustration practice developed by investigating the many forms of illustration such as the visual language, techniques and conventions used. Aesthetic understanding helps to critically respond to individual work and work of other illustrators. Illustation practice involves the exploration and development of ideas by using a wide range of skills, techniques and processes. Experimentation with many different techniques is encouraged and this will enable the pursuanceand implementation of innovative solutions.
