Programming with sockets (TCP/IP), NetBIOS and RTS. Distributed programming and remote procedure calls. Network management protocols (SNMP and CMIP). Network statistical analysis and debugging. Network installation and maintenance. Purpose, architecture and protocols of ISDN and of X.500.
