Syllabus:

This unit is designed for students who have passed TEE Chemistry. General chemistry involving molecular and ionic equilibria, EMF, atomic structure and trends, covalent bonding, shapes of molecules and hybridisation, intermolecular and ionic bonding, S,P, and D block chemistry and coordination chemistry. Experiments involving quantitative analysis, introductory titrimetric analysis, measurement of heats and rates of reactions and chemical and ionic equilibria, pH and buffers.
