Syllabus:

Reinforced Concrete - review of flexural member behaviour and design. Design of columns, walls, slabs and connections. Steel - use of Design Capacity Tables, baseplate design, combined actions. Timber - design of beams, columns, tension members, members in combined bending and direct actions, glued laminated members, joints, connections.
