Role of evaluation in health promotion. Review of needs assessment. Evaluability assessment. Process, impact, outcome and economic evaluation. Research and valuation designs. Threats to internal and external validity. Survey methods. Questionnaire design. Collecting and analysing qualitative and quantitative data. Evaluation instruments. Practical issues and problems. Preparing evaluation plans. Preparing evaluation reports.
