Syllabus:

Production of a media project or portfolio presentation. Supervision and on-line support available.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On completion of this unit, students will be able to - Create a porfolio for professional development purposes. Design, implement and critically evaluate an action research project in a media organisation. Apply action research in a professional situation.

Unit Assessment Breakdown:

Students will produce in 4000 words a portfolio describing the implementation of their action research project and its outcomes. They will also produce a separate 1500 word reflective analysis and evaluation of their project. Portfolio 80%, Reflective Analysis 20%.
