Syllabus:

Understanding the genre of the argumentative essay. Further development of academic style and increasing information literacy levels. Understanding how to avoid plagiarism by developing sound referencing and quoting skills.
 

Unit Outcomes:

Onsuccessful completion of this unit, students will have- Been able to show a greater mastereyof the skills for writing in a tertiary environment by completing an extended researched essay of 2000 words.
