Syllabus:Project work relating to several aspects of nutrition and dietetics, including evaluation of current topics within the literature for both written presentation and oral presentation to peers, dietetic research, institutional catering, menu preparation and analysis and site visits for specialised aspects of dietetic care.
 
Unit Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this unit students will have - Critically evaluated current literature in designated areas of dietetics in both written and oral form. Planned a range of menus for specific energy intakes and conducted nutrient analyses of these. Prepared a specific dietetic sheet. Conducted a project within the area of institutional catering. Applied management principles involved in food service. Planned general and therapeutic menus for institutions.
