Syllabus:Decision support software for management accounting. Development of skills in spreadsheet add-in tools to solve capacity problems, develop budget scenarios, simulations of cash flows for revenues and expenses and capital investment cash flow planning.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this course students will have - Designed and used spreadsheets that comply with audit requirements. Appreciated the use of optimisation, forecasting and simulation models for financial management. Set up financial simulations. Used tools such as budgets and profit forecasts. Found information about industries and companies using the Internet.
