Introduction

A four unit introduction to analysing and understanding the media in Australia and the world. The set sequence for Media Studies may be varied, at the discretion of the school, should students wish to study alternative units, including those available in the Film and Television, Journalism and Internet Studies areas. This minor is designed for those learning professional skills in the media and requiring a basic critical understanding of the media's role and function in society.
