This study unit has a strong focus upon students developing competency in Design Photographic process, management and practice, and is an introduction to vocational Photographic equipment, technique and procedure. The unit also seeks to establish for students a contextual framework to facilitate their understanding of the principal theories influencing contemporary debate into the medium of photography. Through this unit, students will develop a range of commercial illustrative photographic skills in both digital and film based mediums.
