Steel - fatigue, rapid design techniques. Concrete - reinforced concrete columns, walls and slabs. Concrete - Reinforced concrete beams - Introduction, limit state concepts and safety materials, ultimate strength design for flexure, deformation and ductility, shear, bond and anchorage, serviceability - behaviour at service loads, deflections and cracking, continuous beams and practical details.
