Focus on a problem solving approach in the design and implementation of maternity care in complex situations. Modifying birth practices. Evidenced based plans of care in complex situations. Midwifery emergencies. Bereavement and loss. Delivery of health maintenance and promotion strategies for maternity clients. Evaluation of maternity care strategies through the establishment of outcome criteria and application of standards of practice.
