An introduction to, and overview of, electronic commerce technologies, including client server architecture, introductory telecommunications and communication systems protocols, computer network management and security principles, integrated multi-media,distributed conferencing technologies, EDI, EFT and electronic banking systems, image processing technologies, mobile computing, distributed computing, on-line trading and retailing systems, smart cards, electronic encoding systems.
