301636 v.2 Bachelor of Science (Molecular Genetics)

BSc(Curtin)

Introduction
Molecular genetics is an exciting and rapidly developing area of science. It provides an understanding of the underlying mechanisms of many human, animal and plant diseases. New drugs and vaccines, and improved varieties of plants and animals are being produced using genetic engineering technology. Molecular genetics will have an increasing impact on most areas of biology and medicine over the coming years.
