| Syllabus: | This unit focuses on the applied pathophysiology and care of women and babies when complications emerge across the continuum of midwifery care. Students will explore a range of midwifery emergencies, understanding fetal assessment, hypertensive disorders, neonatal resuscitation and breastfeeding challenges along with the associated pharmacology. |
