This stream enhances professional career development, preparing nurses for advanced clinical practice with individuals, families, groups and communities. Nursing theory and research as well as professional role development are an integral part of the stream, which is focused on the development of the multiple roles of the clinical expert through studies in specialist and advanced practice role development.
Major/Stream Entry and Completion Details
Requirement to be currently registered nurses, or eligible for registration as a registered nurse with the Singapore Nurses Board, with a bachelor degree in nursing and with a minimum of one year post-registration clinical experience.. Evidence of successful completion of appropriate research units is an additional course prerequisite. Selection is based on academic performance, clinical experience, professional references and an interview.
