Awareness of incongruent non-verbal communication and the influence of stereotypes, prejudices and cross-cultural issues in communication. Developing knowledge and understanding of basic models of helping and problem solving, including basic assessment skills and processes applicable to professional practice. Ethics and professional responsibilities. |
