Syllabus: | This unit is a follow up unit to Epidemiology and Biostatistics 481, covering advanced statistical methods commonly used in public health research. Topics covered include: review of multivariable methods (multiple linear regression, two-way analysis of variance [ANOVA] and analysis of covariance [ANCOVA]), repeated measures analysis of variance, mixed design analysis of variance, multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), principal component analysis, factor analysis, logistic regression, and use of SPSS statistical software, including use of SPSS syntax. The emphasis is on practical application and interpretation of results. |
